Did u know?

... leather is a waste product from the meat industry? I think it is important to mention this point at this point! No animal (at least here in Germany) is killed just for its skin. That is why it is not insignificant for me to know where my leather comes from! I get my hides from the Kobel Brothers tannery, among others, (https://www.kobelleder.de/), which is known for its good quality and conscious work! I only use and buy vegetable tanned leather, as this is hardly harmful to the environment and free of chemical additives or poisons. In addition, the feel is a lot more pleasant than that of the chrome leather. In conclusion, I would like to say that I find it a little ode to the animal when you try to use as much of the dead body as possible, as our ancestors did. Imagine if we would just eat the meat and dispose of the rest! What a waste! In this way you can manufacture useful articles of daily use that will last a lifetime, which is really very sustainable, in contrast to imitations of leather, which become brittle and fall apart after a while !?
